Valentino Khan never ceases to amaze me with all of these trap tracks he’s been pushing out. His “Trap Thursdays” have been filled with successful track after successful track, and this week he took a bit of a different approach. The track has a much faster pace, and you can tell he’s trying out new elements and sounds. The song is definitely worth a listen! Happy Thumpin Thursday everyone.

Two Door Cinema Club – Sleep Alone (The Chainsmokers Remix)

chainsmokers-slider

The Chainsmokers are really doing something right. Taking one of my favorite indie groups Two Door Cinema Club, they put a crazy, melodic progressive house twist on the original song. These guys wrote to me in an email, and really seem to love what they’re doing. Go support them and listen to the song, also check out their Twitter and Facebook here.

Mystress – Bumba

mystress

So as you guys know, our site encourages people to submit their own music in hopes of reaching out to the lesser known artists out there. Well, this specific group really caught my eye. They reached out to me in an email and sent me their latest trap track titled “Bumba”. This Brooklyn-based trap duo are doing something really special. They claim this song, “stretches the boundaries of what is known as trap.” I’ll let you guys be the judge of that. Enjoy!

Check them out on Facebook and Twitter as well.

bird-peterson

Bird Peterson dropped a filthy trap song about 5 days ago on his soundcloud. I’m smacking myself in the face for not hearing this earlier. This song bumps hard, combining some absolutely crazy synth work with some crunchy baselines and deep bass. This track is fucking insane, enjoy.
