Dirtyphonics – Hanging On Me feat. Liela Moss

Dirtyphonics, the french artist you may know for his brilliant dubstep and electro house has just realeased an originial anthem featuring the vocals of Liela Moss, along with a long list of remixes. This talented group of musicians, formed by Charly, Thomas, Pho and Pitchin in 2004, has been developing its style for the past nine years and are certainly under appreciated. Their music is uplifting, this song is a prime example. Moss kills it on the vocals and Dirtyphonics bring the heavy, yet melodic bass highlighted with awesome vocal synth. Rage anyone?

Koven – Make It There (feat. Folly Rae)

Koven does it again, creating a surprisingly minimalistic yet catchy song. Folly Rae’s vocals are perfect for the groundwork Koven laid and their styles mesh extremely well. I really love the apex of the song, based on the fact it’s not entirely over produced and it doesn’t switch up the pace drastically. Kind of reminiscent of some old school Postal Service around 2:00? Turn the volume up and enjoy!

Don Diablo – Edge Of The Earth

Amsterdam native Don Diablo is the king of melodic beats and amazing progressive house production. This song is titled ‘Edge Of The Earth’ and it’s the titlesong for an upcoming film premiering across Holland and Belgium right now. I personally love the vocals at the beginning and the amazing builds and falls. The song will definitely join my regular rotation. Turn the volume up and enjoy!

I.A.F Volume 2 ft. Krewella, Datsik, Kaskade And More!

Well, it’s Thursday and you know what that means, It’s Almost Friday! This weeks playlist is a bit more banging than usual, mainly because I’m amped to be seeing my boy Alex Young on Saturday. For those of you with uneventful weekends planned, I suggest you listen to this mix and immediatly call your friends over for an awesome time. The whole set includes songs, some new some old, from artists like Datsik, Don Diablo and Krewella. Do me a favor and turn this one up, and celebrate that it’s almost FRIDAY!

Kevin Drew ft. Taryn Manning – Summer Ashes (VIP)

KDrew decided to go hard and release ‘Summer Ashes (VIP)’ featuring vocals from Taryn Manning. She provides some great vocals to the song and I love the switch of pace from the original, giving it a dubstep vibe instead of a progressive house sound. I’m a fan of dubstep that incorporates vocals but also has some great production, and this song maintains the perfect line between those two. KDrew should definitely be on your radar at this point. Turn the volume up and enjoy.

Datsik – Let It Burn LP

Filth. That word kept running through my mind listening to the speaker shattering bass Datsik laid down on “Let It Burn”. Datsik is known for his absurd, grimy dubstep production and this LP is nothing short of what I’ve come to expect from him. I really like the track “Hold It Down” because he incorporated some vocals from Georgia Murray that flowed so well with the song and overall vibe. If you’re looking for a track to get you amped beyond belief be sure to check out “Scum” or “Let It Burn”. Do yourself a favor and listen to this haunted, absolutely filthy LP from Datsik. Be safe.

If you’ve followed us since February, you know by now that we’re huge Krewella fans. So, this upcoming album has been one of my most anticipated releases of the year so far. Every single song Krewella puts out manages to be an instantaneous hit. I don’t know what it is, from Jahan and Yasmine’s vocals, to Rain Man’s absurd production, they are on the come up. The album features collaborations from big names like Patrick Stump and Travis Barker, as well as a feature with the Pegboard Nerds. The whole thing is absolutely amazing and the tracks are all awesome, but to name a few of my favorites I’d have to go with “Ring of Fire” and “Pass The Love Around”. So, when 9/24 comes I urge you guys to buy the full album to support Krewella, but for now enjoy the full album stream.

Jhene Aiko – Bed Peace (Feat. Childish Gambino)

Jhene Aiko decided to team up with Childish Gambino in her soulful new single “Bed Peace”. I really love the beat in this song, giving it a really smooth vibe with some cool, easy drums and snares. Jhene Aiko has an amazing voice, and she chose right when she went with Bino for a verse on the song. Their sound really meshes well. See for yourself and check it out! Enjoy.

Kaskade & Project 46 – Last Chance (Original Mix)

Kaskade and Project 46 are both HUGE names in the EDM game, so when I saw they collabed on a track I was amped. Project 46 adds his usual progressive house flavor to the track, and Kaskade comes up on the back end with his atmospheric production. The vocals are also amazing for this song, and it meshes insanely well with both Kaskade and Project 46’s sound. Turn the volume up and enjoy!
