Million Voices (Stellar Trap Remix)

Stellar decided to take on Million Voices and turn the track on its head. His unique use of ambient soundscapes, rolling claps and booming bass make this song an amazing listen. Not to mention the suspenseful build into a frenzy of vocal chops and wild noise is pretty amazing. Do yourself a favor and turn the volume up and get ready for your weekend. Enjoy.

PatrickReza – Take Me Away (Featuring Jilian)

We posted some PatrickReza in the past on Eargrub so we’re somewhat familiar with him, but this track came entirely out of the dark. He manages to create some suspenseful pauses before tunneling into a spiral of chaotic, yet measured noise. Not to mention the vocal work from Jilian is chilling when paired with PatrickReza’s production. Turn the volume up and enjoy.

Coldplay – Fix You (Collin McLoughlin Remix)

Collin McLoughlin is the king of melodic dubstep. His amazing ability to harness the melodies and nuances of an original song and turn it into something entirely new and energetic is astounding. For this specific track, I really enjoyed his vocal chopping and ability to give it an incredibly uplifting vibe. If you’re a fan of melodic dubstep I recommend you check out Collin’s previous work. For now, turn the volume up and enjoy.

Angels – Huglife Remix

Huglife never ceases to amaze me with his trap heavy remixes of songs. For this specific venture, he manages to maintain the chilling vocals of the original song and add a layer of haunting, bold production beneath. At the 1:38 mark, the song takes a new turn and the listener becomes familiar with a minimalstic yet full sound. Do yourself a favor and turn the volume up on this one. Enjoy.

Tayyib Ali – Gone (Music Video)

Tayyib Ali has always been a constant in my hip hop collection. Steady flow, amazing lyricism and crafty beats are all traits that this Keystone State rapper exudes. Seeing stuff like this just adds to my excitement for his upcoming release, Keystone State of Mind 3 set to drop some time in January. Do yourself a favor and check out the video below, in addition to all of Tayyib’s previous releases. Talent like this doesn’t come around too often.

Jhené Aiko – Bed Peace ft. Childish Gambino (Music Video)

I was so stoked when I found out they made a video for this song. The slow, gorgeous vocals from Jhene Aiko and laid back, smooth delivery by Childish Gambino had to be portrayed in a video. If the video or song doesn’t pull at least a little emotion out of you I would check to see if your heart is even beating. Sit back and enjoy some new visuals for the song ‘Bed Peace’.

Sub Focus – Turn Back Time (Steerner Bootleg)

Steerner decided to try his hand at a Sub Focus bootleg, and he definitely succeeded. The slow build is only the precursor to a series of high intensity crashes, synths and snares that entice the listener. Masterful incorporation of the original vocals in tandem with a sputtering soundscape backdrop provide the perfect base for an amazing song. Keep your eyes on Steerner and his upcoming tracks. Turn the volume up and enjoy.

All American Rejects – Move Along (Kasum Remix)

Kasum is an up and coming DJ and he’s still a sophomore in college. I was really impressed by his track record based on the fact that he loves remixing nostalgic songs everyone loves. Of course, that includes All American Reject’s song ‘Move Along’ which I’m sure you’ve all heard at one point or another in your lower/middle school days. Kasum turned this track around into a melodic masterpiece, incorporating some amazing drums, synths and vocals. Keep an eye out for this kid. Turn the volume up and enjoy.

Imogen Heap – Hide And Seek (Candyland’s OG Remix)

Candyland is a group who are notorious for putting out some seriously hard hitting tracks. Their OG spin on Imogen Heap’s ‘Hide And Seek’ is no exception. Sampling the original vocals in masterful fashion, Candyland combines the emotional energy provided by Imogen Heap and transfers that into a drop that is only justifiable by a long drawn out “woahhhh”. I love the direction they went with this track. Turn the volume up and enjoy.
